Situated overlooking the mouth of the Teign Estuary, we are just 50 yards from a wildlife zoo with some fascinating animals and an approach golf course. Only 20 yards away we have the Smugglers Tunnel that takes you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by The Ness Cliff.

Slightly further afield, but still close by is Newton Abbott and Exeter Racecourses, and Exeter City Centre has a modern shopping centre, not to mention miles of beautiful coastline both north and south of Shaldon.

For the budding hikers amongst you, we are situated on the South West Coast Path, where there are numerous opportunities to spot the local wildlife and soak in the views, and after a long day out and about, you can return to The Ness for some dinner in a relaxed atmosphere with a roaring fire.

With a superb seasonal menu on offer combined with an extensive range of drinks, including our Guest Ales, there will always be something to tempt you.
